Payment Terms & Billing Conditions

The following terms govern all payment transactions processed through Laxova. By completing a purchase on our website, you expressly agree to these Payment Terms.

1. Accepted Methods of Payment

Laxova provides a secure, encrypted checkout process. We accept the following forms of payment:
- Major Credit/Debit Cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express)
- Apple Pay, Google Pay
We do not accept cash on delivery (COD), personal cheques, direct bank transfers, or money orders.

2. Currency and Pricing

All prices listed on Laxova are denominated in Great British Pounds (GBP / £). Prices shown on product pages are inclusive of UK Value Added Tax (VAT) where applicable, at the current standard rate. Shipping and handling costs are separate and will be calculated and clearly displayed prior to final checkout authorization.

3. Payment Authorization and Capture

When you place an order, your payment method will be authorized for the full total amount. The funds are captured immediately to secure your inventory and begin the fulfillment process. By submitting your payment details, you confirm that you are the authorized user of the credit card, debit card, or payment account provided.

4. Order Verification and Fraud Prevention

To protect our customers and our business against fraudulent activity, all transactions are subject to rigorous security checks. We reserve the right to verify the billing address, shipping address, and payment method details with the card issuer or a third-party fraud detection service. If a transaction is flagged as high-risk or suspicious, we may pause the order processing and contact you for further verification (such as proof of identity). We reserve the right to cancel any order that fails our security verification protocols.

5. Pricing Errors and Omissions

While we strive for 100% accuracy, occasional pricing errors may occur. If we discover a pricing error for an item you have ordered, we will notify you as soon as possible. You will be given the option to reconfirm your order at the correct price or cancel it for a full refund. If we are unable to contact you, the order will be treated as cancelled.

6. Refunds and Credits

Any refunds issued (whether due to order cancellation, return, or pricing error) will be credited exclusively to the original payment method used for the initial transaction. We cannot issue refunds to alternate cards or different payment methods. Please allow 7 business days for the refund to reflect on your banking statement, depending on your financial institution's processing times.
